Our First Occurrence products provide lump sum benefits that help mitigate the range of financial hardships associated with the first occurrence of heart attacks and cancer. Our accident policies provide for accidental death and dismemberment, as well as a variety of related expenses. Product features vary by state. 

  • Cancer

Kemper Life provides a lump-sum cash benefit when you are diagnosed with cancer for the first time. This benefit can be used as supplemental income to major medical/life coverage or for any expenses resulting from the diagnosis. Certain restrictions apply.  

  • Accident

Kemper Life provides coverage in the case of an unforeseen accident, including accidental death, hospital or extended care expenses, travel accident, and loss of sight or dismemberment.  

  • Heart Attack

The First Occurrence heart attack policy provides a lump-sum cash benefit to the policy holder when they are diagnosed as having a heart attack for the first time. This benefit may be used to cover any expenses related to the diagnosis. Certain restrictions may apply.
